KF Hardware (also referred to as NW) assemblies consist of two Flanges, a Center-Rings and an aluminum Clamp. Quick Clamps are assembled with wing nuts to insure ease of use over time without tools. A uniform application of pressure on the clamp insures a vacuum seal. The mating flange surfaces compress the O-Ring, which is held in place by a metal centering ring, to generate the vacuum seal.

The Edwards XDS 5 / A724-01-906 pumps are an innovative design which use a bearing shield to isolate the vacuum environment from all forms of lubricant, not only making it totally dry, but hermetically sealed. The shield also protects the bearing from any process vapors.

Edwards EMF 10 Oil Mist Filters are used to separate and trap oil mist and odors discharged with the exhaust from oil sealed rotary vacuum pumps. The Oil Mist Filters have two-part injection molded plastic bodies which contain a fiber composite oil mist filter and an activated carbon odor filter.
